Psquare and MayD splits, The reasons and speculations

This was the news over the weekend but i was trying to see if it was true or not but after seeing the official statement signed by the Managing Director, Jude "Engees" Okoye (Psquares' elder brother), What choice do i have? The official statement was said to have been signed thus:-

To Whom It May Concern

I, Jude 'Engees' Okoye of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.

We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.

Meanwhile, speculations have been arising that the split was caused by the leak of the single "Alingo by Psquare" which was leaked online by MayD without the knowledge of the Square Records. Upon contacting MayD, the artiste was surprised as I was (owing to the fact that there was no prior knowledge) by the memo which was released online terminating his contract with the Square records.  Nobody told him anything.

He said he woke up to hear that he is no more officially with the label.

Methinks that the trio does good music and should continue to do so and should not allow any "irreconcilable differences" to come in between. "justsayingmymind"
