The Okoye family have released the
burial arrangements for their mother Josephine Okoye, the family of pop
sensation P-square, released a statement saying that the body, which is
currently in a Lagos private mortuary, will be laid to rest in her
husband’s house at Ifite-Dunu, Akwa Village, Anambra State on Thursday,
August 2, 2012.
Shortly before the burial, there will be
a lying-in-state in Umunachi, Umudioka Village, Anambra State, and a
church service at St.. Gabriel Catholic Church, before the proper burial
at Ifite-Dunu, which will also be the reception venue.
The one day funeral, as we reported earlier, will be anchored by M.I.C.
Mrs. Okoye died around 11PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, about five hours after a heart surgery in Apollo Hospital, India.
The family has disclosed that she suffered from diabetes.

I am quitting Nollywood- Emeka Ike
He was quoted thus:-
“I have not quit Nollywood in the real sense of the word. What I did was to withdraw all my movies from the market, and I mean all the movies that are related with Emeka Ike…and the reason is not far fetched. I am angry with what is going on in the industry. My conscience would not allow me to go on with the decay in the industry. So, I feel that was the best thing to do, to dissociate myself from the problem and stand out! So, henceforth, any Nollywood movie would not involve Emeka Ike. Rather, I want to market all my movies on the label of Emeka Ike Production. If you want to deal with me as an actor, you have to work with me under the label. That clearly separates me from Nollywood. Kind of discipline. Methinks

to dissolve his marriage, accusing his wife of 10 years of biting him at
the slightest provocation.
The petitioner, Samuel Yisa, described the incessant bites by his 33-year-old wife as “animalistic and a wicked act of defence”.
“This woman is a tigress. Even before any quarrel between us becomes

Man loses seven children to flood
Abdulramid Useni, a resident of Gangere in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, who lost seven children to the flood, said he was yet to comprehend what happened to him.
“My world is finished. Where do I start from?” he asked our correspondent in an emotion laden voice.
Useni said they were sleeping when it happened.
He said, “All of us were sleeping. I, my wife and our 12 children were sleeping in the house when all of a sudden, there was this sudden surge of flood which took over our house. Before we could do anything, the house collapsed and the flood swept all of us away, including the house.

Usher’s Stepson Dies After Jet Ski Accident — Pulled Off Life Support
Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster sadly laid her son to rest this morning.
Doctors removed 11-year-old Kile Glover from life support after it was determined he could never recover, according to TMZ. The doctors declared he was brain dead on July 8.
Tameka is said to have struggled with her decision — as any mother
surely would! For the past two weeks, Tameka remained hopeful that there
was a miracle. On July 9, Tameka posted a message on her Facebook page
saying, “Kile, you are strong…you’ll be saved, I know it. I love you my
baby. I need all #prayers for my son. Thank you everybody!”
