Oba Alli who had since last year been standing trial over allegation of rape was alleged to have mobilized his subjects, many of who were school children to the court during the continuation of hearing on his case.

The monarch was said to have facilitated and sponsored the protesters who almost disrupted the court hearing with their protests within the court premise........

BRIDAL TRAIN MEETS WATERLOO

Five women who escorted a bride to her matrimonial home were among those who were killed by gunmen since the insurgence of Fulani herdsmen against the Berom tribe began about two weeks ago.

This is even as Berom Youth Movement appealed to the Federal Government to take urgent steps to halt the gradual but steady elimination of Berom women, children and men by Fulani militant group. The group put the death toll at over 20.

Information gathered revealed that at Gwa-Rim village of Riyom district, six women had escorted the bride to her matrimonial home on Tuesday to arrange her wares in her new home.........
