The bride only gets to meet the proposed groom just few minutes to the wedding and the Kano state Government pays the groom the supposed bride price known as "Kayan Daki" on the stipulated condition that you are not allowed to divorce or separate without the consent of the state government/board....News reaching to us told DG that the intended grooms and brides are very happy about the development and hopes to find a good partner.
